Overview: Every October, TRVL leans on its ghostly programming extra hard for Ghostober. I revel in all things spooky, so this was right up my alley. I wrote the script, and based on the hook of “up close and paranormal,” supervised a team of editors, designers, and animators to drum up a spine-tingling :60 trailer and :30 promo.

Challenge: Some of the shows we needed to feature were still in various stages of production so we had to get a little creative with footage. Also, a couple of the talent and subject matter could be viewed as silly, so we had to make sure to make everything fit for a consistent tone.

Approach: We kept the design super simple to keep the focus on the programming, but used a frenetic pacing with paranormal “interference” of sorts to keep it creepy. The track has an excellent build that keeps you on the edge of your seat until the climactic finish. Watch if you dare!
