Overview: Between 2017 and 2019, I worked with the fine folks at The Hollywood Reporter to create a few sales tapes for their upfront presentations, to tout their continued excellence when it comes to Emmy’s, Oscar’s, and all-things-awards coverage.

Challenge: Gathering data and statistics to showcase in the videos was always a challenge, as was finding the right footage to support the year’s central theme. Radley produced many reels for THR, so coming up with new concepts and graphic looks was always a bit of an extra hurdle as well.

Approach: I would always start with a round of concepts and scripts, before doing a deep dive online to find strong supplementary footage to that owned by Hollywood Reporter. It was always fun cutting to popular tracks, and learning a lot about celebrities along the way. Check out this trio of star-studded sizzles that turned out particular well.
