Work: Broadcast Promos (Launch and Episodics)

Overview: After doing episodic promos for all of seasons 25 and 26, FS1 gave Radley the opportunity to make the launch promo for season 27 of The Ultimate Fighter, featuring all undefeated MMA fighters. I came up with the hook of “zero means everything” and we held a custom shoot for the season’s cast, including legendary heavyweights turned coaches Daniel Cormier and Stipe Miocic.

Challenge: Just because you have all undefeated fighters doesn’t mean people will automatically tune-in. We had to make this season feel special, elevated and can’t-miss.

Approach: We used edge lighting for the coaches and backlit the fighters to create a sense of mystery and excitement. We also crated a graphics package with frenetic cuts and stark contrast that felt premium and urgent. Close-ups and primal yells upped the intensity, as if every fight having two undefeated fighters wasn’t intense enough already.
