Overview: The wickedly popular fishing series was headed into its 7th season, and Nat Geo bought off on my concept surround the notion of 7 being a lucky number going out the window at sea, because skill and determination outshadow any lucky catches.

Challenge: There would be no custom shoot for this season’s promo launch, so we had to rely on previous seasons and B-roll where needed. After the script was approved, it was also a battle finding the right footage to support certain beats.

Approach: Make no mistake about it, these guys are gritty and tough, so we made sure some attitude came through in the voiceover, and we sprinkled high stakes moments throughout to up the intensity.
